Process Engineer - Pharmaceuticals - Cork - 12 months 

Our client is a leader in improving patients’ lives with a diverse portfolio of products and projects. Customers worldwide look to them for innovations that push the boundaries of medical science. They are currently seeking a Process Engineer for their Irish location.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assesses process capabilities, prioritises process improvement opportunities, and innovates and implements process improvements on platform or derivative projects.
  • Applies technical knowledge to innovate, design, and develop processes, procedures, tooling and/or automation.
  • Executes the functional deliverables associated with the New product Introduction, Project Management, and Quality Systems.
  • Plans, organises, and conducts all aspects of technical reviews.
  • Ensures proper documentation is completed to meet quality systems requirements. (e.g., BOM's, Routers, FMEA's, etc.)
 

Management Requirements
  • BS in Engineering  with 5+ years of related experience in relevant field
  • Mechanical or Biomedical Engineer preferred.
  • Experience leading complex process introductions
  • Knowledge in statistical analysis
  • Design of Experiments (DOE) experience
  • Failure modes analysis
  • Preferred not essential experience:  CAD knowledge, Equipment integration/ Mechanical Design, Vision systems development, Catheter manufacture processes, equipment design
