Planner - Life Sciences - Copenhagen, Denmark - 6-Month Contract

Our client specialises in delivering pharma engineering solutions to the Danish pharmaceutical market. Contributing to over 1,300 engineering projects for their customers every year, they are experts in planning and establishing new pharma facilities, including upgrading, expanding, and supporting existing operations. As their impressive portfolio continues to grow, they are looking for a talented X to support the success of their latest large scale capital investment project.


Responsibilities:
  • Providing oversight of the current project portfolio to ensure schedules and timelines are met.
  • Providing project planning (scheduling) support to the project team.
  • Manage the project schedules in accordance with the project work breakdown structure and ensuring that project schedules are developed.
  • Assuring that project plans are regularly updated and within levels of certainty to allow effective monitoring, forecasting and control.
  • Ensuring that project schedules conform to the Change Control Process, in terms of liaison, communication and calculation of change notes and change orders.
  • Ensure that standard Project Planning requirements are met, understood, and embedded from both Contractors and Sub-Contractors into the project systems.
  • Producing planning reports for input into the monthly reporting process.


Requirements:
  • Extensive knowledge of the software tool Primavera and MS Project.
  • Pharma/Biopharma project experience IS A PLUS.
  • Experience in planning of large CAPEX projects in multi-discipline teams.
  • Construction, EPC & CQV Scheduling experience.
  • Experience of delivering the schedule for projects.
  • Planning responsibility through lifecycle covering Detailed design, Construction and CQV to handover.
  • Working within a multi-disciplined project management matrix organisation.
  • Experience of planning large scale pharmaceutical construction projects would be an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • English language.
