Are you local to Wicklow and looking for your next contract assignment? Our client, a leading pharmaceutical organisation, are recruiting for a Architect Engineer to join their newly assembled team and help contribute towards the development of their next core projects.
This project is located just a stone’s throw from Dublin, the country’s capital, and is advertised for a 5-Month contractual basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support GMS architecture needs when upgrading obsolete OT automation systems (levels 1, 2, and 3) for both new and brownfield manufacturing sites.
- Lead and facilitate efforts to retrofit the new IT/OT architecture design & implementation for the GMS network across all GMS sites.
- Facilitate site wide assessments/workshops to develop remediation plans for GMS sites.
- Provide architectural guidance and support for GMS OT-specific projects as needed.
- Create, update, and maintain documents and standards related to IT/OT architecture.
- Collaborate with ZTD IT and OT teams when integrating automation solutions into RLAN IT/OT computing clusters and the OT domain.
- Provide key technical expertise to GMS when retrofitting new IT/OT architecture.
- Ensure the alignment of OT architecture with overall business and ZTD technology strategies.
- Conduct assessments and provide recommendations for OT system improvements.
- Drive innovation in the OT space with the latest trends and technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a relevant engineering field.
- Extensive experience in architecting automation solutions and controls from the OT domain (levels 1,2, and 3) into IT domains and cloud environments.
- Proven experience with Automation LAN and vitalisation technologies for OT domains.
- Strong understanding of OT and IT integration processes and standards.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Architecting OT automation solutions, understanding OT level 1 and level 2 systems, and IT domains for both new and brownfield manufacturing sites.
- RLAN and vitalisation technologies, industry standards, and OT system assessment.
- Architectural design skills, technical documentation, and project management.
- Implementing RLAN and vitalisation, OT system improvement recommendations.
