On-Site Mechanical Dry / Piping Field Engineer - Germany, Dresden - 6 Months Initial Contract

Are you a On-Site Mechanical Dry / Piping Field Engineer looking for your next contract role? We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our valued client in Dresden on an initial 6 contract.

Experienced at delivering highly efficient projects for state-of-the-art Data Centres, Pharma, Semi- Conductor infrastructures around the world, our client is a global leader in design, engineering and delivery of facilities for high tech industries. This is your chance to join an innovative, market leading data centre company as their newest On-Site Mechanical Dry / Piping Field Engineer. Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing the design, installation, commissioning, and handover of all dry mechanical systems
  • Ensuring full compliance with German DIN and FM Global standards
  • Ensure all systems meet regulatory and safety standards, including DIN and FM Global
  • Collaborate with design teams, construction teams, QA/QC, and project engineers to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient installations
  • Serve as a client-facing representative, capable of communicating technical details clearly and professionally.
  • On-site verification for the back office design team (e.g. on-site measurements, verification of point cloud data)
  • Initiation, coordination and monitoring of the implementation of design changes
  • Participation in design reviews to ensure technical compliance with specified and contractually agreed customer requirements
  • Providing feedback to schedulers/project management on completed work
  • Providing clarification on drawings, specifications and other technical documents to support construction
  • Support commissioning and final handover processes, ensuring all documentation and testing is complete.
Requirements:
  • Coordination with the design and engineering team to resolve technical issues
  • Experience working in a SemiConductor or Cleanroom environment
  • Proactive, problem solving mindset
  • Support and ad hoc solutions for piping adjustments for the mechanical (piping) subcontractor, including the preparation of field instructions and the revision of isometric drawings 
  • Participation in design reviews to ensure technical compliance with specified and contractually agreed customer requirements
