MES Project Manager - Pharmaceuticals - Project Manager - 12 Months+

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading global pharmaceutical client based in the stunning surroundings of Limerick. Due to a large capital investment and multiple projects on site, the client is looking for a Project Manager to join their team


Responsibilities:
  • New MES Implementations: Lead and manage the implementation of new MES solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Platform Projects: Oversee platform projects aimed at enhancing and optimising existing MES systems, driving innovation and efficiency within the organisation.
  • Support Efforts: Manage significant support efforts for MES applications, ensuring timely issue resolution, system maintenance, and continuous improvement.
  • Project Leadership: Guide and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver successful MES implementations, platform projects, and support initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, end-users, and external partners to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality control processes to guarantee the delivery of high-quality MES solutions and support services.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree or certifications (PMP, Agile, etc.) preferred.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in managing IT projects, preferably in the implementation of MES solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of both waterfall and agile project management methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
