MES Engineer - Pharmaceuticals - 6-Month Contract - South of Netherlands

Our client, a leading partner to pharmaceutical, biotech and nutrition markets, has an exciting opening for a MES Engineer for their new Capex investment project. As a scientific and technology innovator, this is a superb opportunity to onboard as our client continues to make strides towards a healthier world for all.


Responsibilities
  • Support the implementation of the MES system on site from an Operational Technology standpoint; supporting the Site MES Lead and the Global Core Team with activities inherent to the application’s configuration, the shop-floor peripheries installation and the implementation of all required SOPs.
  • Support the implementation of the OsiPi system on site from an Operational Technology standpoint; supporting the Site MES Lead and the Global Core Team with activities inherent to the application’s configuration, the shop-floor peripheries installation and the implementation of all required SOPs.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot interfaces between MES and other systems like SAP/LIMS/RESCOP/OsiPi
  • Procure, install and configure shop-floor peripheries required to operate the MES application in the clean rooms.
  • Contribute to designing, documenting and implementing infrastructure technology solutions while aligning with corporate standards and industry best practices.
 

Required experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering Technology, or a related field of study. Experience-based knowledge and understanding are essential to success.
  • 5 to 8 years professional experience in IT for manufacturing sites. Previous experience in management of IT applications connected to external systems.
    GMP environment experience.
  • Experience with a quality management system, raising quality events (especially Change Controls, CAPA’s and deviations).
  • Experience with a documentation management system, making documents effective in a GMP/GDP environment.
  • Previous exposure to OsiPi, integration experience is an asset
  • Previous exposure to any of the commercial MES systems (Rockwell PharmaSuite, Werum Pas-X, POMS, Emerson Syncade).
  • Previous experience in managing shop-floor devices (tablet, barcode scanners, label printers) in a clean-room/sterile environment.
  • Previous exposure supporting Microsoft infrastructure (Windows, Office 2010, 2016, 365).
  • Previous exposure with SQL databases and database servers (SQL server 2014, 2016, 2019 etc.) such as installing databases and running queries.
