Mechanical Engineer - Germany, Berlin - 6-8 Weeks Contract

We are looking for an ambitious Mechanical Engineer that will be representing and working on behalf of one of the fastest growth construction and engineering companies in Europe. Having developed a strong reputation in the Data Centre industry and already delivering projects for many of the well-known and established data centre owner and operators this is your opportunity to play a major part in the delivery of one of their projects in Berlin.

With continuous opportunities for development and growth, you will be given the opportunity to develop new skills and work as part of an established team to deliver a first-class service to their end customer.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the commissioning phase with a strong focus on mechanical and building services systems
  • Review and verify commissioning documentation, test packs, and as-built records
  • Assist in troubleshooting and optimising HVAC, cooling, and other mechanical systems
  • Liaise with project, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure smooth handover
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality procedures, and client requirements
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer on data centre or mission-critical projects
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical services in a Cx environment
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and commissioning plans
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Previous European project experience preferred
