Manufacturing specialist – Contract – Toulouse – Life Sciences

Our client, a global biotechnology organisation, is recruiting for a Manufacturing specialist to join their capital project in the South of France. This new build facility will house a therapeutic protein production plant, and we are looking for a Manufacturing specialist to help expand our client's biotech operations throughout Europe.

Key responsibilities:
  • Being a reference point for activity planning, troubleshooting, and problem solving (e.g. ensure that there is enough personnel to perform in plant activity and be available to support troubleshooting of operators)
  • Being a reference point for materials and room organisation to ensure continuity of production activities (e.g. have a clear understanding of what material is needed prior starting a campaign and ensure it is available)
  • Executing manufacturing activities according to cGMP guidelines (e.g. aseptic operation, shipments, autoclaving) and perform troubleshooting of process and equipment (e.g. create malfunction reports)
  • Cleaning of cell banking rooms and equipment to preserve cleanroom standard
  • Being a reference point for training of in plant activities and equipment (e.g. support newcomers and external in the gowning procedure)
Key requirements:
  • Working experience in Pharma and GMP knowledge
  • Proven knowledge of working in cleanroom environment or cell culture aseptic work
  • Fluent in English and French is a plus.
  • Strong team oriented with good communication skills
  • Structured, focused, well organised, flexible, and independent. Capable to work with low supervision
