LOTO Consultant- Denmark - 12 Months Contract
 
Our client, a global health care company that specialises in diabetes care, are looking for a LOTO Consultant to join their team. The company has grown to become a world leader in the development, manufacture, and marketing of innovative diabetes medications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Be confident to drive and take control of the LOTO strategy to deliver energised systems in a controlled safe manner
  • Delivery of systems, direct experience of a similar position previously who can perform the job without too much instruction
  • We are energising, steam, gas, high pressure, chemical systems, with hi and low voltage electrical systems
  • Confident with P&ID’s - Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams, process systems, and commissioning
  • Deliver and maintain time schedules and align-coordinate with all stakeholders on different systems
  • Front running, making temporary power and mechanical solutions to energise systems where needed
  • Understand and make risk assessments, LOTO plans, HSE requirements
Desirable Experience:
  • Extensive experience in commissioning and start up (energization) of electrical and/or mechanical systems
  • Strong mechanical and/or electrical background.
  • Previous LOTO experience (Lock Out Tag Out) safe isolation and controlled energization of systems, electrical and mechanical
  • Able to read P&ID, to identify process pipe work, equipment, and systems
  • Able to read electrical drawings, to understand three phase supplies, hi and low voltage systems, distribution networks, transformers, bus bars, breaker units, cabinets
  • Understand risks associated with the controlled pressurisation of systems, lines, paperwork, tanks, process equipment etc
