Lead Scheduler - Pharmaceuticals - Ohio - 24-Month Contract 

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Lead Scheduler to join our major, global pharmaceutical client on their latest new-build project based in Ohio, this is a large-scale greenfield capital project and investing more than $1bn.


Principal Accountabilities:
  • Provide oversight of the current project portfolio to ensure schedules and timelines are met.
  • Provide project planning (scheduling) support to the project team and participate in project meetings to provide status and updates.
  • Manage project schedules in accordance with the project work breakdown structure and ensure that project schedules are developed. Assure that project plans are regularly updated and within levels of certainty to allow effective monitoring, forecasting and control.
  • Ensuring that project schedules conform to the Change Control Process, in terms of liaison, communication and calculation of change notes and change orders.
  • Assuring that project plans are regularly updated and within levels of certainty to allow effective monitoring, forecasting and control.
  • Ensure that standard Project Planning requirements are met, understood and embedded from both Contractors and Sub-Contractors into the project systems.
  • Producing planning reports for input into the monthly reporting process.

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Extensive experience in planning of large CAPEX projects (such as Pharmaceutical or Biopharmaceutical) in multi-discipline teams.
  • Construction, EPC & CQV Scheduling experience.
  • Experience of delivering the schedule for projects of similar levels of complexity would be ideal although would be happy to consider a young and motivated individual.
  • Planning responsibility through lifecycle covering Detailed design, Construction and CQV to handover.
  • Extensive knowledge of the software tool Primavera P6 and MS Project.
  • Working within a multi-disciplined project management matrix organisation.
  • Experience of planning large scale Pharmaceutical greenfield construction projects would be an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
