Lead Architectural Engineer - Permanent/FTE - Hybrid - €60k - €90k

An exciting opportunity to join one of the five leading design and engineering firms in the data centre industry that collaborates with some of the largest and most prominent data centre providers and users across the globe, including Europe, Africa, Asia, and the UK.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team where your work will be cross borders, native and home based. In addition to participating in projects, you naturally also contribute to the optimisation of our internal business processes and to safeguarding and sharing knowledge within your field.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Managing and delivering architectural work packages in multiple projects, from early test fits, to building permits to execution.
  • Identifying the scope, design, and management objectives and delivering project documentation.
  • Ensuring the quality and flow of information required for contractors, vendors, and regulatory authorities.
  • Writing technical specifications and reports.
  • Assisting the project manager in the preparation/review of project costs and risk assessments.
  • Review contractor pre-qualifications and prepared tender evaluation summaries for tender reviews.
  • Evaluate proposals and recommendations to the client regarding vendor selection, write technical specifications for tenders.
  • Communicate the status of projects to internal directors and external stakeholders (clients) on an ad-hoc and formal basis.
  • Developing and maintaining vendor relationships ensuring continuous technical professional development.
Requirements
  • A bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in Architectural Engineering.
  • At least 5-10 years of relevant working experience in architectural design.
  • Good knowledge of standard practices in the design and construction industry.
  • License to design (architectural specialization).
  • Fluency in English and Polish.
  • A good understanding of the daily operational business of construction industry clients.
  • An entrepreneurial and result oriented.
  • Proactive and flexible attitude. 
  • Positive and problem-solving attitude.
