Our client, a global pharmaceutical manufacturing organization are looking for a talented I&C Technician to join their expanding team. With continued organizational growth and considerable investment across their portfolio and capital programs this is an extremely exciting opportunity to contribute towards their brand-new manufacturing facility on the East Coast of the United States.
Full Job Description:
- Perform Calibrations to Instrumentation and Controls as directed.
- Perform advanced Instrument and Controls Troubleshooting / Repairs / Preventive and Corrective Maintenance to all Plant Equipment / Systems, Process Measurement and Control, Utility, Laboratory, and Bench-top Instrumentation.
- Follow standard procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with safety and cGMP quality standards.
- Provide input, recommendation, and review for written instruction of Preventive Maintenance tasks and SOPs.
- Execute loop checks for new instrumentation.
- Execute initial/routine calibration work orders as required.
- Perform LOTO as required to complete I&C/Metrology activities.
- Provide training and mentorship to Tech I and Tech II technicians.
- Maintain frequent communication with manufacturing personnel to be aware of their priorities and to communicate equipment repair / calibration status.
- Assist with planning equipment / system shutdowns for maintenance / calibration activities.
Requirements:
- Highly experienced and have advanced knowledge of I&C/Metrology principles and practices.
- Highly skilled ability to troubleshoot / repair instrumentation.
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) such as ProCalV5, Blue Mountain, Maximo, Infor EAM, etc.
- Experience with PLCs, HMIs, or other automation systems.
- DeltaV instrument commissioning skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Ability to perform advanced troubleshooting / repair of instrumentation and control systems.
- May have specialized expertise in a particular area, such as electrical or automated systems.
- Ability to perform duties with minimal to no direction from management.
- Basic computer skills, including knowledge of MS Office or other relevant software.
