Are you a HSE Advisor looking for your next contract role? We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our valued client in Vienna on an initial 12 Month contract.
Experienced at delivering highly efficient projects for state-of-the-art Data Centres, Pharma, Semi- Conductor infrastructures around the world, our client is a global leader in design, engineering and delivery of facilities for high tech industries. Responsibilities:
- Provide expert HSE guidance and support across all phases of the data centre construction project.
- Ensure compliance with local and international HSE legislation, standards, and best practices.
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific HSE plans, procedures, and emergency response protocols.
- Deliver HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions to site personnel and subcontractors.
- Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics, incidents, and near misses; support investigations and root cause analysis.
- Promote a strong safety culture through engagement, leadership, and visible presence on site.
- Liaise with client representatives, contractors, and regulatory bodies on HSE matters.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, training, and compliance documentation.
- Support environmental management initiatives, including waste management, pollution prevention, and sustainability practices.
- A degree or diploma in occupational health and safety, environmental science, engineering, or a related field is often expected.
- Hands-on experience in construction, energy, or industrial environments—especially where complex risk profiles are involved.
- Strong understanding of UK HSE legislation, CDM regulations, and industry-specific standards.
- Familiarity with incident reporting systems, risk assessment tools, and HSE management software is a plus.
- A strong communicator with great attention to detail and problem solving skills.
- Previous experience in leadership roles.
