Equipment Engineer - Pharmaceuticals - Seattle - 12-Month Contract 

Our client, a global biotechnology organisation, is recruiting for a Equipment Engineer to join their capital project in the Seattle. This new build facility will house a therapeutic protein production plant, and we are looking for a Equipment Engineer to help expand our client's biotech operations throughout the US. As the Equipment Engineer you will be responsible for implementing all safety requirements for a new build facility.


Responsibilities:
  • Work as directed by Project Manager to develop Technical and Functional Documentation Specification with Owners, Engineering, Quality and Safety Departments etc.
  • Develop the equipment RFPs clearly outlining all the company requirements
  • Review vendor documentation for compliance with Engineering, Regulatory and Safety Requirements.
  • Ensure correct receipt verification of vendor documentation, equipment and any related parts.
  • Inspected equipment and provide commissioning support where required

Requirements:
  • Have a 3rd level qualification in an Engineering or Science Discipline.
  • Have 5  plus years work experience involving equipment specification,  qualification and lifecycle management
  • Knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements and good engineering practices.
