Electrical C&Q Startup Lead - US, North Carolina - Long Term Contract 

Our client, a globally recognized pioneer in Biotechnology, are recruiting for the position of Electrical C&Q Startup Lead. A leader in the industry, our client focuses on areas of high unmet medical need and leverages its expertise to stride for solutions. This is your chance to join them on their global mission to better the lives of those effected by disease and illness. The project at hand is for the construction of a new build biomanufacturing plant based located on the East Coast.

What you'll do:
  • Serve as the commissioning and qualification (C&Q) lead for Electrical systems (responsibilities described below).
  • Gain a thorough understanding of system design by reviewing engineering documentation, Single
    Line, P&IDs, and design specifications.
  • Take custody of the system post-construction and maintain ownership through C&Q completion.
  •  Attend daily commissioning meetings to coordinate activities
 What you'll need:
  • Extensive experience in electrical-specific C&Q programs for large-scale construction projects, with experience on projects in excess of $200M
  • Background in large scale, complex, greenfield CAPEX projects
  • Strong knowledge of safe electrical plans and programs throughout equipment documentation and process design into energization and project turnover.
  • Experience with development, execution, and reporting of electrical plans for C&Q activities.
  • Experience with high-voltage systems (120, 208, 480 volts)
