CQV Lead – Pharmaceuticals – Contract – North Carolina

Our client, a globally recognized pioneer in Biotechnology, are recruiting for the position of CQV Lead. A leader in the industry, our client focuses on areas of high unmet medical need and leverages its expertise to stride for solutions. The project at hand is for the construction of a new build biomanufacturing plant based located on the East Coast, and as the CQV Lead you be responsible for the Central Utilities Building (CUB).

CQV Lead Responsibilities:
  • Review and approve all FAT wraparounds, Test Matrix and Design Reviews.
  • Responsible for review of all Design deliverables, including Drawings, Datasheets, specifications and Engineering Lists. 
  • Aligning on System boundaries and lead and review exercise. 
  • Be the CQV SME for all CUB/ Grey systems. 
  • Liaise with general contractor in relation to construction readiness and a schedule for all systems - perform and lead all field walkdowns for all systems.
  • Lead CQV review, aligning with transition group in relation to review and approval of all turnover packages.
  • Liaise with CQV swat team in relation to punch list closure both pre-M/C and during the CQV execution phase for all CUB/grey utilities systems.  
  • Liaise with CQV PM and Lead Scheduler in relation to schedule creation and management for all Process Equipment Support, ensuring all correct predecessors and successors are in place.
  • Ensure commissioning readiness of all CUB/grey utilities systems to support equipment start-up and IOC Testing.
About you:
  • 10 + years of CUB/Grey Utilities experience including experience with design and construction projects for biopharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.  
  • 5 + years’ experience in Leading CUB/Grey Utilities CQV Team    
  • Working knowledge of ASTM E2500 / Leveraging Verification process
  • Experience with liaising with other departments and building PMs/leads  
  • Computer skills (Spreadsheets, Word Processing, Visio, Microsoft Project)
  • Experience or an understanding of KNEAT & EIDA systems is a nice to have
  • Demonstrated proficiency communicating and collaborating at a variety of levels
