Construction Program Manager - Pharmaceuticals - 12-Month Contract 

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our major, global pharmaceutical client on their latest new-build project based in Ohio, this is a large-scale greenfield capital project and investing more than $1bn.


Education and Experience requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in fields related to construction management, civil engineering, architecture, or a related field.
  • Significant experience in managing construction projects, preferably including large-scale projects in the healthcare or biotechnology sector.
  • Proven experience in successfully managing complex projects from inception to completion.
  • Experience with constructing or managing facilities for biotechnology or pharmaceutical purposes, particularly gene therapy, would be highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multidisciplinary teams effectively.

Technical Skills Requirement
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve results through leadership and effective team management.
  • Facilitate issue resolution, anticipate scope changes, and implement safely with quality, speed and value.
  • Must exhibit a good sense of judgment in decision making, without the need for management approval while at the same time keeping management informed and engaged on critical issues.
  • In depth knowledge of, and experience in, the application of industry accepted project management experience.  
  • Demonstrated value for a disciplined, structured approach to project management and the ability to create and communicate progress via a metric based program.
  • Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to influence personnel and organizations without having direct administrative responsibility for them.
  • Influence on and understanding of the external environment in order to understand comparative value and possible risks.
