Construction Manager - Puerto Rico, Barceloneta - 12 Month Contract

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Construction Manager to join our major, global pharmaceutical client on their latest new-build project based in Barceloneta, this is a large-scale greenfield capital project and investing more than $1bn.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the eyes and ears in the field across construction zones
  • Monitor daily subcontractor activity and progress
  • Support Fluor CMs in driving schedule adherence and issue resolution
  • Collaborate with Quality and Safety teams to ensure compliance
  • Participate in coordination meetings and provide daily status updates
  • Identify construction delays or blockers and escalate proactively
  • Ensure scope execution aligns with design documents
Skills and Experience:
  • Requires extensive experience in construction management or superintendent roles
  • Experience supporting EPCM projects of over $100m (ideally within pharma, biotech, or regulated manufacturing)
  • Comfortable managing multiple subcontractors across large facilities
  • Strong communication and field coordination skills
  • Ability to lead from the field while collaborating closely with office-based leads
