Change Control Manager

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Change Control Manager to join our major, global pharmaceutical client on their latest new-build project based in Ohio, this is a large-scale greenfield capital project and investing more than $1bn.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the end-to-end change control process across the project lifecycle, ensuring all changes are properly assessed, documented, approved, and implemented in coordination with EPCM partners.
- Maintain and update the project change log with cradle-to-grave accountability, including assigning change numbers and tracking status.
- Organize and lead weekly change board meetings, determine required attendees, and ensure meeting notes and action items are distributed.
- Oversee the initiation and routing of Project Change Requests (PCRs) and Project Deviation
- Notices (PDNs), ensuring accountability for timely submission, review, and approval in alignment with project governance protocols.
- Serve as the central liaison between functional groups to streamline change assessments and maintain traceability throughout the approval process.
- Distribute change notifications and updates to relevant project personnel, EPCM partners, and vendors, ensuring transparency and continuity across all impacted areas.
- Ensure documentation accuracy, procedural consistency, and audit readiness throughout the change control process.
- Track execution of approved changes, escalate delays or issues, and ensure commercial implementation actions are completed.
- Support evaluation of change impacts on project scope, schedule, and budget, and ensure performance metrics are updated accordingly.
- Maintain visibility into change-related performance indicators and contribute to reporting and forecasting efforts to support project delivery objectives.
- Proven experience managing change control processes within large-scale capital projects.
- Familiarity with EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management) delivery models and vendor coordination.
- Strong understanding of project governance, documentation workflows, and approval protocols.
- Ability to lead cross-functional collaboration across engineering, procurement, document control, and project controls teams.
- Skilled in organizing and facilitating change board meetings and managing stakeholder communications.
- Proficiency in tracking and reporting change impacts on scope, schedule, and budget.
- Experience with project controls tools and systems for logging, tracking, and reporting changes.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail and accountability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interfacing with internal teams and external partners.
