Capex Control Lead - Ireland, Waterford - 12 Month Contract 

Would you like the opportunity to work alongside a global healthcare product manufacturer who are the leaders in the production of over-the-counter medicines? Our client, responsible for the development of a number of key and revolutionary products and with a thriving global presence is recruiting for a Capex Control Lead to join their new project located near Waterford. 

What you'll do:
  • Responsible for E2E process on all CAPEX and OPEX projects ensuring alignment with internal policies and external compliance:
  • Monitor and report on CapEx & OpEx project performance, including budget tracking, variance analysis, and forecasting.
  • Set up all necessary Master data, WBS, DCF forms
  • Prepare capitalisation forms, ensure PIP project approvals and capitalisation
  • Impairment / Write off regular reviews
  • Yearly assets count verification + Regular asset tags for new assets
What you'll need:
  • Degree and/or internally recognised accounting or professional finance designation.
  • Experience in CapEx management
  • Strong technical knowledge, financial accounting & compliance, Business acumen
  • High level of information and data to deal with, solid understanding of accounting and compliance standards and regulations
  • CapEx management/controls knowledge
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
