Automation Project Manager - Berlin - 6-12 Months initially with extensions

We are currently working with a leading data centre owner operator that are undertaking a multitude of projects globally. They are currently expanding their automation teams and are currently looking for an Automation Project Manager. 


Duties
  • Lead regional Automation project design, engineering, and programming/software delivery.
  • Support in developing and handling automation design, and engineering strategies.
  • Develop technical task prioritisation and scheduling for prioritising and project timelines.
  • Support and coordinate automation design and engineering requirements with internal and external partners.
  • Evaluates progress on project(s) and supervises changes to schedule.
  • Develops and maintains standard communication and user documentation for Automation aspects of project implementation (RFIs, Transmittals, Submittals, Change Requests, Project Plans, Status Updates, etc.)

Job Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in Building Management System (BMS) design, integration, commissioning, or technical leadership.
  • BS in related Engineering or Construction Management fields preferred, but not required based upon experience level.
  • PLC / SCADA Application Engineering experience preferred.
  • Experience with Ignition Automation/Allen Bradley or Rockwell Automation Studio 5000
  • Data Centre or Mission Critical project experience preferred but not required.
  • Shown success in project management with PMP certification preferred, but not required.
  • Experience in instrumentation and controls (I&C) preferred.
  • Proficiency with MS Project, MS Office, and MS SharePoint
  • Travel when required
