ADC Process Engineer - Remote Working - 12 Months Contract With Extension

This is a fantastic opportunity for a ADC Process Engineer to join our major, global pharmaceutical client on their latest new-build project. This is a large-scale greenfield capital project and investing more than $1bn.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead technical design input for the ADC process area, working across design, engineering, and operations teams.
  • Own and drive the development of User Requirements Specifications (URS), equipment layouts, and containment strategy.
  • Actively participate in design reviews (30/60/90%) and ensure alignment with GMP and OEB5 standards.
  • Evaluate P&IDs and collaborate closely with Process Engineering, Quality, and EH&S.
  • Support vendor selection, equipment specification, and FAT/SAT activities.
  • Provide hands-on input to cleanroom layout, clean utility needs, and safety risk assessments.
  • Serve as the lead point of contact between Lilly's internal stakeholders and external partners
Skills and Experience:
  • Requires extensive experience in pharmaceutical facility design, ideally with direct ADC or HPAPI experience.
  • Strong technical understanding of bioconjugation processes, cytotoxic containment, and sterile fill-finish.
  • Demonstrated ability to act as a decisive, independent technical lead within a capital project.
  • Familiarity with GMP, ISO8 cleanrooms, and OEB5/HPAPI manufacturing environments.
  • Hands-on experience with URS creation, P&ID review, layout development, and vendor engagement.
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented, and comfortable working with limited internal technical support.
