QCS are partnered with a leading power solutions company that operate across EMEA. Our client were established more than 100 years ago, and provide solutions when electrical energy is crucial. They are an independent international company with more than 4200 employees spread across 30 subsidiaries and production sites worldwide.

Their core activity: Maximising the availability, control, and safety of low-voltage installations with a focus on the energy performance of their customers.

They are rapidly expanding their team and looking to hire an Account Manager Service & Aftersales UPS in Netherlands location.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the sale of service services to customers throughout the Netherlands.
  • Developing and maintain long-term relationships with customers at operational and strategic levels.
  • You maintain contacts and negotiate with customers about service services, products, and maintenance contracts.
  • Actively approach potential customers and analyse the market by obtaining customer information from the sales department with the aim of generating leads, quotation pipeline, and orders.
  • Knowledge of how to adequately advise the customer on technical issues and are able to convert the offered solution into orders.
  • Work closely with your colleagues from sales service inside sales, UPS sales, and the Service execution department. You ensure optimal collaboration to achieve the assigned region, contracts, and objectives (sales targets and customer satisfaction).
  • Proactively and creatively think about ways to develop and grow the service proposition.
  • Work daily with the local team in Houten and international colleagues at our factories in France and Italy.
Requirements:
  • You have completed HBO/MTS Electrical Engineering education and preferably have several years of proven experience in commercial field service within electrical engineering and sales of service services.
  • Knowledge of critical power systems such as UPS, batteries, and STS products is a plus.
  • You are a self-starter and able to work independently but also a team player.
  • You are ambitious, entrepreneurial, commercial, result-oriented, and not afraid to roll up your sleeves.
  • You have strong communication skills and are able to translate customer needs into the most favorable solution based on Critical Power services and products.
  • For the performance of the function, you are used to working orderly, setting priorities, and spending a lot of time with your customers on location.
  • You have experience with Windows, Salesforce, and ERP systems.
  • In possession of a driving license.
