Technical Project Engineer Design Co-ordinator - Remote, Europe - Initial 12-Month Contract - Life Sciences

Our client is a global pharmaceutical manufacturer undertaking a large project to deliver a new manufacturing facility in the US. Designed in Europe, the project is currently advancing through engineering and will enter detailed design within the coming months’.

This is a rare opportunity to support a high-profile programme at a pivotal stage and contribute to the delivery of a world-class pharmaceutical manufacturing asset.

What you'll deliver:
  • Coordinate engineering and design deliverables across engineering contractors, modular fabrication partners, vendors, and project stakeholders to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Facilitate technical reviews, manage design changes, and drive resolution of engineering issues while ensuring actions and decisions are effectively tracked and closed out.
  • Support project engineering activities including planning, tracking deliverables, risk identification, stakeholder coordination, and schedule alignment across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Oversee vendor and fabrication interfaces, including equipment suppliers, documentation reviews, fabrication progress, quality oversight, and factory acceptance activities.
What you'll need:
  • Engineering degree (Chemical, Mechanical, Process, Pharmaceutical, Industrial or similar) with significant experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, life sciences, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Proven experience coordinating engineering and design activities on large capital projects, with a strong understanding of project delivery from concept through construction.
  • Strong stakeholder, vendor, and technical interface management experience, including working with A/E firms, contractors, suppliers, and multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Knowledge of GMP-regulated facilities and pharmaceutical engineering standards; modular construction or fabrication experience would be advantageous.
