Site Electrical Engineer – Roscommon, Ireland – Initial 12-Month Contract – Life Sciences

Our client, a global pharmaceutical company, are looking for a Site Electrical Engineer to support the delivery their project based near Roscommon. The company has grown to become a world leader in the development, manufacture and marketing of innovative pharmaceutical products to alleviate some of the world’s biggest health problems.

What you’ll deliver:

• Assist the implementation of electrical engineering standards into all capital and RTB projects.
• Develop, support and provide electrical design, construction and verification deliverables in accordance with project scope, schedule, and applicable standards, including technical and commercial documentation, technical input and expertise.
• Establish standards for electrical systems and technical documentation relating to electrical systems, meeting applicable industry best practice, national codes and engineering requirements.
• Set and ensure adherence to handover and lifecycle management expectations. Ensure documentation packs are available, current, accurate and at an appropriate standard for all electrical infrastructure on site.

Experience required:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (Level 8) or related discipline
• Extensive experience in an electrical engineering role within industrial, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or similar regulated environments.
• Experience supporting construction and commissioning activities on live sites.
• Familiarity with GMP requirements and working in regulated manufacturing facilities desirable
• Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to interface effectively with contractors, vendors, and project teams.
