Senior Mechanical Engineer – Permanent – UK, London – Data Centres

We are currently supporting a specialist engineering and project delivery company supporting mission-critical construction and infrastructure projects across complex technical environments. The organisation provides installation, coordination and engineering expertise to help deliver high-quality projects safely, efficiently and on schedule.

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our client’s team and support their current project in London.

What you’ll do:

• Lead the design and development of advanced cooling and infrastructure solutions for mission-critical environments, ensuring performance, reliability and scalability.
• Produce detailed engineering designs, drawings and technical documentation from concept through to deployment and commissioning.
• Manage testing, validation and performance analysis activities, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, reliability and operational performance.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders on project delivery.

What you’ll need:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Extensive experience in mechanical engineering design, ideally within data centres, HVAC, critical infrastructure or similar environments.
• Strong understanding of thermal management, fluid systems, heat transfer and cooling technologies.
• Experience using 3D CAD software and managing testing, commissioning and performance optimisation activities.
