Safety Manager – Paris, France – Initial 12-Month Contract – Data Centres

Are you a Safety Manager  looking for your next contract assignment? Our client, one of the top 4 hyperscale data centre providers across the globe, needs the expertise of a Safety Manager for their current European projects.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a truly international organisation responsible for providing some of the world’s most recognisable scalable data centres. This forward-thinking data centre provider has plans to double the number of facilities in the EMEA region.

This is an opportunity for you to work client-side with an ambitious organisation in the data centre market.


What you’ll deliver:

• Act as the primary point of contact for all HSE matters, including risk assessments, permits, safety inductions, site inspections, and training delivery.
• Conduct regular safety audits, site reviews, and compliance checks to ensure adherence to HSE standards, project requirements, and client KPIs.
• Identify, assess, and manage high-risk activities while collaborating with contractors, clients, and project teams on safety planning and work coordination.
• Review accidents, incidents, and near misses, implement corrective actions, and promote positive safety culture and behavioural safety initiatives across site teams.

Experience required:

• Proven experience managing health, safety, and environmental activities on construction or operational sites, including permits, risk assessments, audits, and training.
• Experience conducting site inspections, safety audits, compliance reviews, and monitoring corrective actions to ensure adherence to project and regulatory standards
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and confidently challenge clients or contractors to maintain safety standards.
• Previous experience working in construction, commissioning, or live operational environments with a strong understanding of site safety practices.
