Project Engineer - Dublin, Ireland - 11 Month Contract

Our client is one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical organisations. With continued organisational growth including ongoing investment across the portfolio and capital projects programme at their manufacturing facility in Dublin, an excellent opportunity has arisen for a Project Engineer to join the team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Initial scope of work for this Project Engineer will be to deliver several investment projects on site with specific focus on HVAC heat recovery system, Heat pump(s), chillers etc.
  • The Project Engineer will liaise, where necessary, with external engineering companies to complete design and execution.
  • Maintain strict budgetary control, while adhering to agreed schedules.
  • Manage procurement activities associated with projects, inclusive of tendering, Purchasing and Invoice management.
  • Lead cross functional teams in development and execution of projects.
Desirable Experience includes:
  • Extensive experience in pharmaceutical project / program management.
  • A 3rd level degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent is required.
  • Excellent project management skills, Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent PM qualification is a plus.
  • Ability to plan workload and work to tight taked.
  • Ability to communicate with Site Management, all Engineering disciplines, EHS, Production, and Quality personnel.
