Our client is a leading independent Design & Engineering Consultancy, delivering major projects in data centre, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, infrastructure and other industrial sectors. They are looking for a Principal Mechanical Building Services Engineer to join their team in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Principal Mechanical Building Services Engineer in the Data Centres sector to advancing their career within a globally recognised environment.

What you’ll do:

• Manage and deliver the Mechanical building services work packages in multiple concurrent projects, either in the UK or internationally.
• Provide technical leadership on projects
• Providing technical leadership, mentoring and coaching to design engineers
• Promote and deliver the use of Sustainable and LZC technologies
• Leading energy in-use compliance and thermal analysis as required to comply with local mandatory standards.

What you’ll need:

• Experience in HV power system design
• A BEng (Hons) or MEng in Building Services / Mechanical Engineering;
• Extensive relevant working experience in Mechanical design;
• Achieved Chartered or Incorporated Status
• Good knowledge of standard practices in the design and construction of relevant sector
