Our client is a leading independent Design & Engineering Consultancy, delivering major projects in data centre, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, infrastructure and other industrial sectors. They are looking for a Principal Electrical Building Services Engineer to join their team in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Principal Electrical Building Services Engineer in the Data Centres sector to advancing their career within a globally recognised environment.

What you’ll do:

• Manage and deliver the Electrical building services work packages in multiple concurrent projects, either in the UK or internationally.
• Provide technical leadership on projects
• Providing technical leadership, mentoring and coaching to design engineers
• Promote the implementation of digital, automation and parametric methods of design on projects
• Production of design calculations including using 3D modelling software, checking and reviewing of calculations produced by others.

What you’ll need:

• Experience in HV power system design
• A BEng (Hons) or MEng in Building Services / Electrical Engineering;
• Extensive relevant working experience in Electrical design;
• Achieved Chartered or Incorporated Status
• Knowledge and practical experience of specialist mechanical building services design and modelling software.
