Mechanical & Piping Lead – Norway – Initial 12-Month Contract – Life Sciences

Our client is undergoing major growth, supported by substantial investment aimed at increasing its overall manufacturing capacity in the medical device sector. Recent upgrades include the development of new, advanced automation systems and additional infrastructure enhancements designed to meet growing global healthcare demands.

With a long‑established presence and a highly skilled workforce, the site requires the role of a Mechanical & Piping Lead to support their project based in Norway.

What you’ll deliver:

• Technical responsibility for piping and mechanical disciplines in investment projects, from concept and design through installation, testing, commissioning and handover.
• Define technical requirements, design basis, standards and deliverables for piping, process equipment and mechanical systems.
• Quality-assure P&IDs, piping specifications, line lists, equipment datasheets, layouts, isometrics and other relevant engineering documentation.
• Set clear requirements for, and follow up, external engineering companies, equipment suppliers and contractors with regard to quality, progress, cost and documentation.

Experience required:

• Experience with technical interfaces and coordination between disciplines and stakeholders.
• Background from industrial projects, preferably pharma.
• Norwegian (written and spoken) & English (written and spoken)
