Lead Piping Designer – Copenhagen, Denmark – Initial 12-Month Contract – Life Sciences

Our client, a global pharmaceutical company, are looking for a Lead Piping Designer to support the delivery their project based in Copenhagen. The company has grown to become a world leader in the development, manufacture and marketing of innovative pharmaceutical products to alleviate some of the world’s biggest health problems.

What you’ll deliver:

• Review piping design deliverables from EPCM contractors.
• Verify piping layouts, routing and design concepts.
• Ensure alignment with project requirements and standards.
• Review and comment on Plant 3D and SP3D models.
• Participate in model reviews and design coordination meetings.

Experience required:

• Strong background in piping design, plant layout, and process equipment integration within pharmaceutical, biotech, API, or chemical manufacturing facilities.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale  CAPEX projects, ideally involving facility expansions, retrofits, or brownfield modifications.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams, ensuring piping, mechanical, process, electrical, and automation designs are fully integrated.
• Hands-on involvement in 3D model reviews, identifying spatial conflicts, resolving clashes, and ensuring designs are practical and buildable.
