Engineering Project Manager – Ireland, Westport – Initial 12-Month Contract – Life Sciences

Located near Westport, our global pharmaceutical client is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to support their state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing facility. What you’ll deliver:

• The Project Manager will coordinate and manage the design, installation and operational start-up of new/upgrades to buildings, facilities, systems / equipment.
• The Project Manager is ultimately responsible for project oversight and review of all disciplines including Safety, electrical, mechanical, controls, and architectural. A fundamental understanding of these systems is required
• Coordinate and supervise daily construction activities at site, ensuring compliance with the project quality plan, technical specifications and construction schedule.
• Plan and organize construction activities to optimize the use of resources and meet project milestones.
• Review drawings and specifications to identify and resolve discrepancies or conflicts in a timely manner.

Experience required:

• Degree in Engineering, Structural, Civil, Construction management or related discipline
• Extensive experience in a civil and/or structural engineering, construction project Management.
• Experience working in a regulated, Pharma, quality-focused environment
• Strong understanding of project execution in a GMP setting.
• Experience supporting projects in Pharma, Medical Device, or other regulated GMP manufacturing environments.
