Electrical Design Engineer

Electrical Design Engineer – Copenhagen, Denmark – Initial 12-Month Contract – Life Sciences

Our client, a global pharmaceutical company, are looking for a Electrical Design Engineer to support the delivery their project based in Copenhagen. The company has grown to become a world leader in the development, manufacture and marketing of innovative pharmaceutical products to alleviate some of the world’s biggest health problems.

What you’ll deliver:

• Review and challenge EPCM electrical and instrumentation designs.
• Assess design compliance with project standards, regulations, and specifications.
• Challenge engineering assumptions, calculations, and technical decisions.
• Lead electrical and E&I design assurance reviews.
• Identify design risks, gaps, and coordination issues.

Experience required:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience delivering electrical and E&I systems on major industrial or  pharmaceutical CAPEX projects.
• Strong understanding of LV/MV power distribution, switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, emergency power, earthing, and lighting systems.
