EHSS Specialist – Roscommon, Ireland – Initial 12-Month Contract – Life Sciences

Our client, a global pharmaceutical company, are looking for a EHSS Specialist to support the delivery their project based in Roscommon. The company has grown to become a world leader in the development, manufacture and marketing of innovative pharmaceutical products to alleviate some of the world’s biggest health problems.

What you’ll deliver:

• Support the implementation and maintenance of the site's Health and Safety Management System
• Conduct routine workplace inspections, audits and compliance assessments.
• Facilitate risk assessments and ensure effective implementation of corrective actions.
• Support permit-to-work activities and contractor safety management.
• Monitor compliance with applicable health and safety legislation and company standards.

Experience required:

• Extensive EHSS experience within a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device or regulated manufacturing environment.
• Degree in Occupational Environmental Health & Safety, / Engineering / Science or related discipline.
• Professional Health & Safety qualification.
• Understanding of Irish Health & Safety legislation.
