E&I SME - Belgium, Brussels - 8 Month Contract

We are looking for an experienced E&I SME for a fantastic 8 month contract based in Brussels.

You will be working with our client who are a global biopharmaceutical organisation committed to improving the lives of people afflicted with neurological and immunological disease.

What you’ll do:

• Act as Subject Matter Expert for Electrical & Instrumentation.
• Review and challenge: URS, Technical and functional specifications, Electrical drawings, PFDs, calculations, Define and apply standards, norms and engineering guidelines.
• Participate in: Design reviews (basic & detailed design), RFQs and supplier selection, HAZOP, risk analysis and safety reviews.
• Follow construction activities: Field presence when needed and spot checks and quality controls.
• Support: FAT / SAT, Commissioning and qualification phases, ensure HSE, safety rules and regulatory compliance and Coordinate with multiple stakeholders and ensure proper handover 

What you’ll  need:

• Masters Degree in relevant field
• Extensive experience within Pharmaceutical, food, nuclear or highly regulated industry
• Experience in Electrical and Instrumentation engineering
• Work across all project phases (design, construction etc)
• Strong Knowledge of Belgian electrical safety regulations (RGIE / equivalent).
