Cost Controller

Cost Controller - Denmark, Copenhagen - 6 Month Contract 

Our client, a global organisation within the pharmaceutical industry, needs a Cost Controller to join their large-scale CAPEX project based near Copenhagen. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional in the life sciences sector to advancing their career within a globally recognised pharmaceutical environment.

What you’ll do:

• Provide cost control support for total investment cost, including invoicing, payments, accruals, work in progress (WIP), reconciliations, earned value management (EVM)
• Establish and maintain budgets, work breakdown structures (WBS), and cost baselines aligned to project scope and schedule.
• Produce monthly cost forecasts, analyze cost drivers and variances; recommend corrective actions and recovery plans.
• Control and monitor Subcontract and Procurement costs with proactive follow-up on variances and commitments.

What you’ll need:

• Extensive experience within cost management function, experience in life science sector would be advantageous
• Demonstrated experience supporting large scale capital construction projects
• Strong change and risk management expertise
• Strong proactive approach with ability to work collaboratively
