Construction Manager

Construction Manager - Finland - 12 Month Contract

Our client is a leading independent Design & Engineering Consultancy, delivering major projects in data centre, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, infrastructure and other industrial sectors. They are looking for a Construction Manager to join their team in Finland.

What you’ll do:

• Full accountability for Scope, Schedule, Cost, Risk, Quality, and Procurement Management across data centre construction projects.
• Lead the construction management team throughout the execution phase of hyperscale / colocation data centre developments, ensuring alignment with project objectives and client requirements.
• Chair and coordinate technical and interface meetings with design, engineering, and contractor teams, ensuring seamless delivery across Civil, Structural, Architectural, and MEP systems.
• Develop and manage detailed construction schedules, closely monitoring progress against key milestones, including commissioning readiness.
• Oversee critical interface management (CSA / MEP / ICT systems) which is essential in data centre delivery environments.

What you’ll need:

• Extensive experience in construction management roles on complex, large-scale projects, with a strong preference for data centre, mission-critical, or high-tech industrial facilities.
• Proven experience delivering projects for hyperscale or colocation data centre clients across Europe or similar markets.
• Strong background in MEP-intensive environments, including power distribution, cooling systems, and redundancy (Tier standards knowledge advantageous).
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in an engineering discipline (civil, structural, mechanical, or electrical).
• Familiarity with Finnish construction regulations, permitting processes, and HSE standards is an advantage.
