Business Operations Specialist – Ireland, Cork – Initial 12-Month Contract – Life Sciences

Our client is currently seeking Business Operations Specialist.

What you’ll deliver:

• Lead the implementation, standardisation, and long-term sustainability of 6S practices across BCoE laboratory environments.
• Coordinate 6S programmes, including workplace assessments, audits, visual management standards, action tracking, and performance reporting.
• Deliver training, coaching, and facilitation to laboratory teams to embed 6S principles into daily operations and continuous improvement activities.
• Partner with scientists, engineers, EHS, Facilities, and leadership teams to improve safety, workplace organisation, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Key requirements:

• Proven experience working in a regulated operational, laboratory, or manufacturing environment.
• Strong practical knowledge of 5S/6S methodologies and workplace organisation principles.
• Demonstrated change management, coaching, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to analyse performance data, facilitate improvement initiatives, and drive sustainable operational excellence outcomes.
