BMS Automation Expert - Germany, Frankfurt - 18 Month Contract

With major capital investment experience driving various facility build projects. This is a unique opportunity for an BMS Automation Expert to join a global leader in the life sciences market and play a key role in shaping the future of advanced manufacturing.

Responsibilities include:
  • Oversee all Building Management System (BMS) activities during the construction of the clients new manufacturing campus.
  • Act as the primary on-site technical representative, ensuring project standards are met.
  • Coordinate vendor work, including installation and commissioning, and provide escalation support.
  • Apply project management capabilities to support construction activities and ensure a seamless workflow.
Key requirements include:
  • BMS Systems: Experience with Siemens Desigo CC or similar systems (e.g., Honeywell Trend, Johnson Controls).
  • Proven experience with construction phase oversight, vendor installation, and commissioning.
  • Strong technical and communication skills, with demonstrated project management and coordination capabilities.

Liaising with Quality, Engineering and CQV to align on Critical parameters and document content.Track and confirm closure of actions items identified through FAT, HAZOP, Design Qualification and other reviews. What you'll need: B.Sc/B.Eng. degree in engineering discipline, with particular emphasis mechanical or process engineering.Extensive experience from biotechnology or pharmaceutical GMP manufacturing/CQV environment.Demonstrated ability to work on own initiative and proactively respond to business needs.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Familiar with Delta-V & Navis Works an advantage.
