Technology Transfer lead - 11-Month Contract - Edinburgh, Scotland

Are you a Technology Transfer lead  located in the UK and looking for an opportunity to work with one of the world’s leading biotechnology companies? We have the role for you! Our client is at the forefront in developing of a number of key and revolutionary products and with a thriving global presence is recruiting for a Technology Transfer lead to join their new Edinburgh based project. 


Responsibilities:
  • Identify and manage delivery of Process Development, Technology Transfers / improvement projects, through to commercial manufacturing hand over, with a view to increased process robustness, yield and success rate and/or reduced COGs to agreed timeframe. Lead multi-disciplinary project teams to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Manage and lead delivery of New Process Introduction through stages of clinical manufacture to commercial manufacture, including cell banks, viral banks and vaccine batches through to sterile bulk Drug Product formulation.
  • effective management of assigned projects and sub project workstreams to ensure delivery to agreed project timelines

Requirements:
  • Extensive experience (10+ years) of working within the Vaccine or Biologics Health Science Industrial sector, in Process / Assay Development, Manufacture or Analytical functions, particularly viral products
  • Relevant Science based Degree qualification or additional relevant experience in Vaccines / Biotech discipline
  • Proven track record in leadership of major, complex, multi-disciplinary projects involving diverse departmental teams
  • Proven Line Management capabilities of experienced Senior Scientists (5+ years)
  • Strong GMP understanding and experience
