Our client is a leading developer in the industry, owning and developing projects across all major and emerging offshore wind markets. They are now recruiting with a superb new opportunity for a Technical Writer to join them on a contractual basis, based in Germany.
With a significant track record of successfully delivering projects and a vast project pipeline across the UK, Europe and emerging international markets, this is an incredibly exciting time to join them in their current project.

Our client is a leading developer in the industry, owning and developing projects across all major and emerging offshore wind markets. They are now recruiting with a superb new opportunity for a Technical Writer to join them on a contractual basis, based in Germany.
With a significant track record of successfully delivering projects and a vast project pipeline across the UK, Europe and emerging international markets, this is an incredibly exciting time to join them in their current project.
Technical Writer Responsibilities:
- Create, update, and maintain technical documentation for wind assets operation and maintenance-related works
- Create documentation with DITA using the Oxygen editor and the content management system
- Create and maintain digital inspection record sheets using Adobe Acrobat Pro for form fields
- Interact with the drawing office and Operations to provide technical drawings and component photographs for inclusion in the technical documentation. Ensure storage of images in the Content Management System according to the RDS-PP code
- Communicate with subject matter experts (Technicians, Engineers, HSE experts)
- Experienced in writing technical documentation
- Experienced in XML based writing (Dita)
- Has worked with an XML editor before (e.g. Oxygen/ XMetal)
- Knowledge of wind industry (advantageous)
- Fluency in English (for business purposes)
