Support Equipment Process Engineer - US, North Carolina - 12 Months Contract

Our client, a global pharmaceutical manufacturing organization are looking for a talented Support Equipment Process Engineer to join their expanding team. With continued organizational growth and considerable investment across their portfolio and capital programs this is an extremely exciting opportunity to contribute towards their brand-new manufacturing facility on the East Coast of the United States.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
  • The Support Equipment Process Engineer’s main responsibilities will be:
  • Support troubleshooting parts washers and autoclaves as a subject matter expert
  • Lead and drive issue resolution related to parts washers and autoclaves
  • The individual must be comfortable with shifting week to week priorities based on a dynamic project environment.
  • The individual must be willing to be onsite (Holly Springs, NC) during “core” working hours (9-4pm), M-F.
  • Support parts washer and autoclave troubleshooting efforts as a subject matter expert (SME)
  • Directly interface with vendor(s) to resolve issues
  • Support commissioning, qualification, and validation (CQV) team activities (reviewing protocols, reviewing SOPs, contacting vendors for information, equipment troubleshooting, etc.)
  • Drive resolution of CQV testing issues and findings (organize meetings, generate technical justifications, etc.)
  • Monitor system punch list and drive punches to closure
  • Support investigations associated with instrument out of tolerance events
  • Generate Trackwise change controls and drive them to closure
  • Generate preventative maintenance (PM) plans
  • Identify spare parts based on vendor documentation
 Requirements:
  • Requires extensive pharmaceutical industry experience in an engineering role
