Shipping Validation Consultant – Remote based – Biologics – 12 month - Contract

I am supporting a Global Biopharma client in their search for a Shipping Validation Professional.

The Validation Professional will be supporting the multinational Global Validation Team across multiple manufacturing facilities and various projects.

This role is open to candidates based in Europe and the USA. The successful candidate will be based  remotely with no need to visit client sites.

Responsibilities / Experience

To co-ordinate and execute Global Shipping validation activities for Temperature Controlled shipments via air, road and short sea.
  • Shipping validation documentation – drafting, reviewing and approving documentation.
  • Accountable for the following validation activity linked to Global projects:
    • Passive shipper qualification for the Shipping and Distribution of temperature-controlled products
    • Shipping lane assessment and qualification for the introduction of new lanes and products
    • Review of current shipping systems
    • Introduce new shipping system for frozen material via international airfreight
    • Responsible for the core aspects of Shipping Validation SOP's, specifications and validation plans
    • Actively contribute to project teams
Compliance
  • Understanding and applying industry specific compliance standards/regulations to all Shipping Validation activities.
  • Understanding of the importance considering impact on GxP and compliance on decisions made.
  • Conducting and participating in Risk assessments, root cause analysis and investigations.
  • Developing, and approving protocols, reports, project change controls and deviations.
  • Proactively highlighting any issues around compliance.
  • Participates in internal and external audits and inspections where required.
