Senior Fire Engineer - Frankfurt, Germany - Permanent

We are currently partnering with a leading global consulting and engineering company that are looking for experienced data centre professionals to join their team. Our client is working with many major developers in the data centre space and require a Senior Fire Engineer for their Frankfurt location.

Our client offers strategic, tactical, and operational advice to a variety of entities, including co-location data centres, internet service providers, and telecom companies. Their team is composed of experts in diverse fields such as electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, construction, civil engineering, structure, building, architecture, fire safety, control engineering, and security technology.

Responsibilities:
  • As Senior Fire Engineer you must prove yourself to some of the most demanding customers in the world and work pro-actively with colleagues across the globe. With your technical and 3D/BIM modelling skills, you know how to efficiently engineer and model design. 
  • Engineering the design in project teams. Specific installations such as sprinkler, fire alarm, smoke heat extraction (SHE) or gas extinguishing installation;
  • Develop diagrams of the installation and coordinate with other disciplines for the initial space reservations;
  • Modelling the installation in 3D Revit/BIM based on diagrams and coordinated space reservations under your supervision.
  • Implement your knowledge based on functionality, mount-ability, accessibility and maintainability into the model to ensure that the contractor can build it according to our model without revising it.
Requirements:
  • Technical bachelor and/or master degree
  • Extensive relevant working experience in Data Centres
  • Experience with Revit and integrated design
  • You have excellent communication skills towards colleagues and clients
  • Good understanding of the sector specific daily (operational) business of their clients
  • Ability to perform best in a multidisciplinary team often with international colleagues
  • Good command of the English & German language
