Senior Electrical Engineer - Renewable Energy - Antwerp

Responsibilities:
  • As an Electrical Engineer you are responsible for the E&I discipline within the project team. This means:
  • Designing and realising the installation; during the design you process all input from the stakeholders, for the detailed elaboration you direct external study agencies
  • Conduct technical discussions with suppliers (drawing up technical specifications, competitions, orders and follow-up of deliveries)
  • In consultation with your project manager, you determine a cost estimate and a schedule
  • Monitoring the execution of the works in terms of both quality and safety
  • Monitoring that the scope, budget and timing are maintained
  • Actively participate in the selection and implementation of protections, checking of operating descriptions
  • Actively conducting pre-commissioning tests of the installation at start-up and supporting functional tests.

Requirements: 
  • Have obtained at least a bachelor's degree with a specialisation or affinity in electricity or electromechanics + at least 6 years of experience in a comparable sector
  • Have knowledge of electricity, electrical networks, instrumentation, PLC controls, power electronics, industrial communication networks, PL/SIL
  • Experience with automation of bulk handling installations / Machine Construction is a plus.
  • Can perform cable calculations. Knowledge of caneco is an added value.
  • Has experience with electrical drawing packages (is a plus)
