Responsibilities:
- As an Electrical Engineer you are responsible for the E&I discipline within the project team. This means:
- Designing and realising the installation; during the design you process all input from the stakeholders, for the detailed elaboration you direct external study agencies
- Conduct technical discussions with suppliers (drawing up technical specifications, competitions, orders and follow-up of deliveries)
- In consultation with your project manager, you determine a cost estimate and a schedule
- Monitoring the execution of the works in terms of both quality and safety
- Monitoring that the scope, budget and timing are maintained
- Actively participate in the selection and implementation of protections, checking of operating descriptions
- Actively conducting pre-commissioning tests of the installation at start-up and supporting functional tests.
Requirements:
- Have obtained at least a bachelor's degree with a specialisation or affinity in electricity or electromechanics + at least 6 years of experience in a comparable sector
- Have knowledge of electricity, electrical networks, instrumentation, PLC controls, power electronics, industrial communication networks, PL/SIL
- Experience with automation of bulk handling installations / Machine Construction is a plus.
- Can perform cable calculations. Knowledge of caneco is an added value.
- Has experience with electrical drawing packages (is a plus)
