Senior Contracts Manager- Denmark, Copenhagen - 6-12 Month Contract 

Our client, a global CDMO in pharmaceutical manufacturing, is recruiting for a Senior Contracts Manager to join their new and exciting large-scale CAPEX investment programme. With a mission to provide process development and cGMP production in cell culture, microbial fermentation, and gene therapies, this is an outstanding opportunity make a genuine contribution to the biopharmaceutical industry.

Responsibilities include:
  • Lead a team of Contracts Managers.
  • Drive internal process of commercial approval.
  • Work closely with our EPCM partner.
  • Internal alignment with internal stakeholders (e.g.) legal, SME’s and finance.
  • Act as escalation point on ongoing pending supplier/contractor.
  • Emphasize proactive, systematic approach to detect and advert delays to contractual milestones agreed upon.
  • Overview and Management of Construction Management Contracts including Administration of contracts.
  • Strong Team Management skills
  • Participation in project meetings to provide updates and status.
  • Ensure that updates are provided to all relevant stakeholders on any initiated mitigations on catch-up and improvements.
  • Review status reports for any potential problems and initiate mitigating actions for potential risk areas.
  • Visits field on a regular basis, align with engineering and other stakeholders for actual status and progress (and get a view behind scene) throughout the project.
  • Weekly reporting and updates on own packages.
  • Forensic ambitions or capabilities.
Key requirements include:
  • Solid technical background and experience, preferably prior field operative.
  • Bachelor + degree.
  • Requires extensive experience in projects.
  • Experience as Senior Contracts Manager with team management skills is a requirement.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Absolutely self-driven, is “out there”, visible, approachable, engaging even when not asked.
  • Site based
