Senior Automation Engineer – Pharma – 9-Months Contract – Belgium

Senior Automation Engineer Responsibilities:
  • Work with Automation CAPEX PMO to assure the proper planning and interdependency between different projects is well considered;
  • Assess and study the PAT platform connectivity with other systems;
  • Manage product life cycle : version migration and compatibility with PAT instruments;
  • Work with TECH (IT) and OT team to identify the proper build of the infrastructure to assure the proper management and maintenance of the application across its life cycle;
  • Collaborate with sites automation teams during Project mode & BAU (Business as Usual)
  • Work in collaboration with Technical R&D, Tech ( IT teams) on the digital twin transfer to manufacturing;
  • Maintain the PAT platform in the OTlab updated and fully functional and operational for tests;
  • Review or re-build the LDD (Landscape Definition Document) of the solution to meet new needs;
  •  Work with OT team to assure that OT controls and policies are properly considered in the design and maintenance of the solution;
  • Work with Data management team to assure the proper data flow is considered;
  • Participate in creating the system URS (user requirement specification) for PAT instruments and other applications interfacing with PAT;
  • Review the design specification documents
  • Review the related IT documents to the application 
  • Identify and escalate any associated risk to project technical execution

About you:
  • Language: French fluent and advanced level of English (oral and written)
  • Good knowledge on OT Industrial automation system, specifically with DCS (PCS7 and/or Delta V)
  • Proved experience with PAT (Process Analytical Technologies) platforms (i.e. Process Pulse or SIPAT)
  • Basic knowledge of Historian platform, Osi PI is preferred
