Scheduler – Pharmaceuticals – Contract – North Carolina

Our client, a global pharmaceutical manufacturing organization are looking for a talented Scheduler to join their expanding team. With continued organizational growth and considerable investment across their portfolio and capital programs this is an extremely exciting opportunity to contribute towards their brand-new manufacturing facility on the East Coast of the United States.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables, using scheduling software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera). Ensure schedules align with project goals and deadlines.
  • Coordinate with project teams, working closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information, update schedules, and communicate project timelines effectively.
  • Monitor and track project progress, regularly updating schedules to reflect project status, track milestones, and identify any delays or deviations. Provide status reports to project management and stakeholders.
  • Assist in resource allocation and management, including personnel, equipment, and materials, ensuring resources are effectively utilized according to the project schedule.
  • Identify potential scheduling risks or conflicts and collaborate with the project team to develop mitigation strategies. Proactively adjust schedules to address any issues that could impact project timelines.
Requirements:
  • Experience in pharmaceutical environments, particularly in fill/finish and sterile manufacturing, with a solid understanding of industry-specific scheduling needs.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software, such as Microsoft Project (preferred) or Primavera P6, with the ability to effectively manage and optimize project timelines.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple project schedules simultaneously, including the planning and coordination of shutdown schedules for ongoing projects.
  • Willingness and commitment to work in Greenville, NC, with the flexibility to support local project demands.
