Quality Specialist (Systems/Compliance Specialist) – Life Sciences – 11-month contract – County Cork

One of our global Pharmaceutical clients is looking for a Quality Specialist to join their team close to the picturesque and historical city of Cork. The site is renowned for manufacturing excellence and plays a vital role in the company's large-scale biotech operations worldwide.

The site has received €130 million in investment over the last five years to continue the growth and expansion of the facility; with new products coming to the site, it is an exciting time to join the team.


Quality Specialist Responsibilities:
  • Deliver a robust Quality Management System to support a flexible, collaborate, multi-skilled teamwork environment.
  • Provide independent quality support, guidance, and expertise to ensure the success of each area
  • Support the review & approval of key quality deliverables across Laboratory Operations including Change Control, Deviations, & Safety
  • Review & approval of GMP procedures (& associated documents) 
  • Responsible for Compliance Tier 4
  • Supporting archiving for Laboratory Operations
  • Participation in inspection of site by CQAC/Regulatory Bodies /third parties.
  • Champion the highest quality and compliance standards for the Laboratory Operations
  • Makes decisions within guidelines and policies which impact Laboratory Operations
  • Champion the highest Quality and Compliance standards for Laboratory Operations
  • Participate in GMP walkthroughs to ensure good housekeeping & safety standards.
About you:
  • Good analytical skills and systems awareness, high level of data gathering, process mapping and financial .
  • Knowledge of SOX Compliance
